Tennis New Zealand is always open to enquiries from experienced coaches wishing to become Coach Developers. Coaches with a background that includes academic work (degrees, diplomas, and certificates), professional development experiences, coaching qualifications and credentials (ITF Level One or Equivalent minimum), and experience in teaching and facilitation will be considered for selection as a Coach Developer.
Tennis Coach Pathways. The Tennis Coach Development Pathways offer easily accessible short courses for beginning coaches, internationally recognised qualifications for those committed to coaching as a vocation and opportunities for qualified coaches to deepen their learning through extension modules.
Minimum Qualification: – Tennis New Zealand Junior Development Coach or equivalent. A successful Coach has to be able to provide proof of appropriate insurance, qualifications and first aid certification. Please be aware that only applications from candidates with a right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.
