Set the board up in the right back position, where the setter would normally be releasing from. One player or coach hits driven balls at the board. One at a time, defenders (liberos or passers) from left back release and set the ball that bounces off of the board. Also, have your liberos practice the "two shoot" shot.

Glue the dowel rods in the holes of the two boards like rungs of a ladder. Do the next step before the glue dries. Place the drilled boards on the ground with the top and bottom even with each other and the dowel rods still in them. Place the two undrilled boards three feet from each other across the back of the drilled boards.

2. 4ft x 8ft x 18in. We made these out of 1/2" or 3/4" plywood untreated for the box sides, tops and bottoms. We cut "handles" out of one of the sides and. sanded them off. We then put four rolling castors on the opposite side of the handles for ease of moving.
